Faces of David

Faces of David is a series of hand-stitched portraits using data from Stanford University’s
Digital Michelangelo Project. Stanford's software allows me to effectively fly around the statue and adjust the lighting to create an image to my specifications.

At right, from top to bottom:
David in Periwinkle, 2010
David in Fern Green, 2010
David in Peacock Blue, 2010
David in Terra Cotta, 2010

Each canvas measures 16 x 16 inches
